Susina says she will only know whether there is a game at 2PM a few hours before start. The staart hour might change too. The game might be cancelled all together. Not that I wanted to play, just for future reference. ;) This was a one-time thing, I normally start one thread per request. helene_t Posted April 14, 2015 Report Share Posted April 14, 2015 In such a situation it might be better if susi maintained a list of people she is ok with and who would be willing to play on short notice, if necesarry with a p/u partner. There are probably some suitable people who don't check bbf constantly. Setting up a dummy tourney and use the partnership desk might be an option. There was a lot of confusion, I had very limited time to prepare with Vank and the little time we had wasn't use effectively since I had to answer queries from susi and from people I had previsouly asked if they could play, and even so I missed replying to one friend who apparently thought she might be playing and only realized that wasn't invited when the mathc started so she was not ammused. Vank and I had the following agreements: 2/1 std woolsey. That's it. Thankfully I didn't get any cards to bid on so there was little scope for bidding misunderstandings.
