Bbradley62
It wouldn't have occurred to me to invite like this (obviously, I didn't know what was going on from the other side either), but it's kinda cool.[hv=sn=bbradley62&s=SAKJ52H82DAK8CAK4&wn=GIB%20W&w=SHQJT97DJ976543CJ&nn=GIB%20N&n=ST976HADT2CQ87632&en=GIB%20E&e=SQ843HK6543DQCT95&d=e&v=n&b=18&a=P2C(Strong%20two%20club%20--%2019+%20HCP%3B%2023+%20total%20po)2D(twice%20rebiddable%20%21D%3B%209+%20total%20points)3C(Positive%20--%205+%20%21C%3B%208+%20total%20points)D!(Responsive%20double%20--%205-%20%21C%3B%202-%20%21D%3B%204+%20%21H%3B%204+%20%21S%3B%2011-%20HCP%3B%208-12%20total%20points)4C(3+%20%21C%3B%2019+%20HCP%3B%2023+%20total%20points)P4N(Blackwood%20%5BC%5D%20--%205+%20%21C%3B%209+%20total%20points)P5D(One%20or%20four%20key%20cards%20--%203+%20%21C%3B%2019+%20HCP%3B)P5N(Query%20kings.%20Have%20all%20keycards.%20Does%20not%20promise%20extras%20--%205+%20%21C%3B%20%21CQ%3B%209+%20total%20points)P6D(3+%20%21C%3B%2027+%20total%20points%3B%20forcing%20to%207C)P7C(Signoff%20--%205+%20%21C%3B%20%21CQ%3B%209+%20total%20points)PPP&p=HQHAH6H2C2C5CACJCKD3C3C9C4D4CQCTS6S8SAD5H8H9C8H3STS3S2HJS9S4S5D9S7SQSKD6DAD7D2DQDKDJDTH4D8HTC6H5C7HKSJH7]360|270[/hv](check out the description of 6♦)Edit: It's very hard to show any Kings over 5N(RKC for clubs)
Lovera
I think that this five-losers hand is not just for the2♣ bidding (requeiring almost 26 points). Perhaps 25+1(=5th spade)+1(doubleton in heart)=27.(Lovera )
georgi
Thanks for reporting. Note taken to be discussed about that sequence where practically 5NT is useless ( with fit in clubs ) as none king is available to show as they are always over agreed trump 6. 1eyedjack
Thanks for reporting. Note taken to be discussed about that sequence where practically 5NT is useless ( with fit in clubs ) as none king is available to show as they are always over agreed trump 6.It is not (generally) useless. In Blackwood the 5NT bid serves two purposes: (1) to enquire into Kings, and (2) to confirm that all key cards are held in case partner has sufficient undisclosed extras to commit to grand. So even if purpose (1) is redundant, purpose (2) may still have relevance.
