Bbradley62 Posted March 10, 2015 Report Share Posted March 10, 2015 GIB is very bad about understanding "competitive" bids; he basically thinks all voluntary bids are invitational. We have had many threads devoted to this. GIB presumably thinks 3♠ by West over 3♥ would show 16+ total points, because he doesn't want to risk being at the 3 level with 15 opposite 6.
