Bbradley62
If North is good enough to bid 4♦, why doesn't he bid 4♠ over 4♥?[hv=nn=GIB%20N&n=SAJ72HT6DAK2CT964&d=e&v=o&b=14&a=P1C(Minor%20suit%20opening%20--%203+%20%21C%3B%2011-21%20HCP%3B)P1S(One%20over%20one%20--%204+%20%21S%3B%206+%20total%20points)P2N(Jump%20in%20notrump%20--%203-5%20%21C%3B%202-5%20%21D%3B%202-4%20%21)P3C(4+%20%21C%3B%204+%20%21S%3B%207+%20total%20points)P4C(4-5%20%21C%3B%202-5%20%21D%3B%202-4%20%21H%3B%202-3%20%21S%3B%2018-19%20HC)P4D(Cue%20bid%20--%204+%20%21C%3B%204+%20%21S%3B%20%21DA%3B%2013+%20total%20points)P4H(Cue%20bid%20--%204-5%20%21C%3B%202-5%20%21D%3B%202-4%20%21H%3B%202-3%20%21)P5C(4+%20%21C%3B%204+%20%21S%3B%20%21DA%3B%2013%20total%20points)]300|200[/hv]
georgi
Cuebidding in the own major here shows just length and some suggestion to play. Will be addressed whether supporting opened minor should refuse interest in spades and showing 4+ cards in the minor and 4M cards only.
