Cyberyeti
[hv=pc=n&s=s83haj75dakj852c2&n=sa642hq8d43caqt75&d=w&v=n&b=12&a=p1cp1dp1sp2hp3cp3nppp]266|200[/hv] NS vul matchpoints The play goes as follows: Q♠253J♠4987♠AK5♥4♦7J6A♦93QK♦105♣2♥8♦3♣7♣4♣5♦6♣10♣3♥2♦8♣Q♥6♥2♣J♣A♣9♣ So it looks like W has a top spade, E has a top club, they have 2 hearts each, do you play to have executed the double squeeze and play a heart to the J making 11 if the K♥ is right and 9 if it's wrong, or do you simply exit a spade and make 10 if you've read the distribution of the end position correctly regardless of the position of K♥. If you're adv or better please spoiler your answers.

Cyberyeti
"Novice and Beginner forum" "Do you play to have executed the double squeeze" <_< It's a 3 card ending which I've spelled out, the double squeeze is incidental to the point of the post. Cyberyeti
cyberyeti was a much stronger NB than i was am TBF many begnners execute these things and just think opps got their discards wrong, very frustrating when they do it to you and they just move on oblivious. But to make it explicit, the ending is most likely either: [hv=pc=n&s=shaj7dc&w=s7hk6dc&n=s6h8dcq&e=sht9dck]399|300[/hv] (spots approximate) or the same with W's K♥ switched with one of east's hearts, lead with N. NickRW
Think this hint might help What high cards has East shown up with? What high cards are we potentially also placing in that hand? What did East bid?

This was exactly the point of the problem and why it is in N/B
NickRW
Of course, though it slightly detracts from the point of the problem, it is entirely possible that you've misjudged the situation and the ♣K is sat on your left. Relatively unlikely, but not impossible.

Relatively unlikely, but not impossible. Just about, would require a stiff K♥ and a non overcall of the 10 high 6 card heart suit at favourable, you're still better off ducking the spade than finessing the heart, I think K 6th is very unlikely not to make a weak jump which is where it would cost. gszes
Imagining rho abandoning T9xxx or K9xxx or KTxxx after the 2h bid makes little sense. I would play the spade and be happy with 10 tricks.

I would play the spade and be happy with 10 tricks. This misses the point, he has to keep K♣ if dealt it so he abandons one of those holdings, but if he had K♥ he had an 11` count with 5 hearts to the K, and would probably have overcalled 1♥, so playing the spade is nearly auto
