Stephen Tu Posted February 24, 2015 Report Share Posted February 24, 2015 Well, it's negative in the sense of showing a bad hand in high cards opposite a 2♣ opener. It's pretty standard for double = bad hand at lower levels. Whether this should still apply over 4M is up for debate, perhaps double should show some other hand type over higher preempts. georgi Posted February 25, 2015 Report Share Posted February 25, 2015 Positive pass cannot have 5+ cards suit, so it's 4441/4432/4333 shape any. Otherwise it would bid it naturally instead.
