hotShot
In a post a while ago, Fred suggested that a "booklet" with all deals from a tourney, with some commends on bidding or playing, would be a nice "extra value" one could get in a pay tourney. So if i prepare a set of deals, upload it to the tourney, how can i get thoses "booklets" to the participants? You could extract the BBO-Names from the result list, but that won't give you an email address or something. You could post a link to the tourney, but if you do that while everybody is still playing, they can look at them while still playing (guess that helps to make the right decisions at the end of the tourney). Those players that finished first, might not get the message to tourney at all. Any kib, can read tourney chat, so they would get the "booklet" for free. That "booklet" might be a pdf file, or maybe even a lin file. Would it be possible to upload such a file, when creating the tourney, that is delived to the participants, when they leave the table after the last round. uday
If the 'Booklet' were a link, wouldnt be too hard at all. Something like a new TD command in the TABLE screen... "Specify msg to be sent on conclusion of tourney". You type in a URL and it is sent to participants on closure ?
hotShot
Good suggestion! This sort of Message would do fine.
inquiry
I can see a lot of uses for this, I hope it gets added. 1) Clubs like abalucy having link to their webpage or web-based statistics2) Most tounreys defaulting to myhands site (or better yet, tourneyment specific data, but with differential ending times, this might be a problem)3) Sponsored tourneys with a link to their sponsors webpage4) tourneys with added value like play record, a link to those pages (I would guess you best be clever about naming so people can't guess the location and find records prior to or during play... maybe put up the web pages only after tourney completely over) etc.
