Erkson
Player's names are displayed with different background colours (blue, yellow, red, white etc...) with different meanings.IMHO it would be very useful to have different background or letter colours, or any other sign, to show the player's claimed level (Expert, advanced, intermediate, beginner or private). Erkson
Many thanks, Uday. I am thinking as a kibitzer, who could know quickly what is the level of a table.I think it is also interesting for a player to know quickly if he wants to join a table. Rain
Interesting suggestion, but I think the current colours are best..afterall it could lead to too many colours? Even if you have 2 sections per name, top = self rating colour and bottom = friends/enemy rating, it could be a bit intimidating..... Since its all self ratings, perhaps having the table host colour the table is better. ie, the table name has a colour, according to the type of oppos the host wants... csdenmark
This kind of information has been discussed before. The problem is still the additional table information is not displayed unless you point specifically on that to the left. - And most players just jump into an empty seat and let come what may. If they dont like it - nothing prevents them to leave quickly jumping into somewhere else. Displaying the table-info pointing to an empty seat will probably solve the matter. Fine-tuning can be done displaying partner info in this way: Pointing to table: Display host-ID + table discriptionPointing to North: Display South-ID + table discriptionPointing to South: Display North-ID + table discriptionPointing to West: Display East-ID + table discriptionPointing to East: Display West-ID + table discriptionIf partners seat is empty: Display host-ID + table discription Above rules looks clear to me - and ought therefore to be no really problem to put into programme. It is a simple decision table - and that it what programmers likes best! Yours Claus - csdenmark :)
Erkson
My aim is to see quickly what players have at least an advanced level. First I thought of a different background colour. I imagine now another solution : hit a button or configure a setting to get only advanced-and above-level players' names displayed. Erkson
Hi, Claus. As a matter of fact it is not a problem because most players rank themselves correctly. Regards.Erkson
