imaquila Posted February 1, 2015 Report Share Posted February 1, 2015 If our Robots did NOT (attempt to) play 2 over 1 they would be highly valued tool for Beginners and Intermediates trying to learn the more common conventions. iandayre Posted February 1, 2015 Report Share Posted February 1, 2015 I don't think 2/1 is the problem. The robots do reasonably well in uncontested auctions. So I think it is better to learn conventions with your partner, so you are both on the same page. This way you will also most likely learn the variant that is popular in your area, so that you can play the same with a variety of partners.
