runewell
I am making the practical bid of 5D. Partner has promised some values and four hearts and that's all i need for game. Hopefully if partner has extras or prime cards he will raise to 6.
Lovera
I agree with 2♣ opening and for this one 4♠ could be the answer to X but i prefer 5♦ that should solve problem on (future) bidding and allow us to play this contract (at the moment) also considering pair vulnerability.(Lovera)
mike777
[hv=pc=n&s=sqha92dakqjt742c8&d=s&v=b&b=7&a=1d1sd3s]133|200[/hv] In this and similar spots I have often thought that playing 4C as a relay would be a good idea, but without any special agreements what would you bid? System is 2/1, 1D is 4+ unless 4=4=3=2. Team match. I will try 6d. give pard as little as: xxx...KJxx...x....Axxxx and we have chances. don't like opening 2c here. prefer a 3 loser hand with a long minor. option2=5d now. I would have thought that the above hand is quite a lot! I will just bid 5♦. It would be nice to ask for a stop, but sadly that is not an option. Any argument for playing x as stop asking here?
