gszes Posted December 13, 2014 Report Share Posted December 13, 2014 Given that you KNOW (for whatever reason) east has only spades left it becomes asimple matter to lead and cover as cheaply as possible whatever card west plays.If east refuses to win the trick you have secured 2 spades. neilkaz Posted December 15, 2014 Report Share Posted December 15, 2014 Note also that this works with AQx as long as the x is higher than the card played by LHO. I pulled this off as little more than a beginner back in the 80's when I had AQ7 in dummy and LHO fell asleep and didnt play a card higher than the 7.
