paulg
So what is the popular defence and style in Poland against the Polish 1C opener? And what do all the experts use? ------Paul
the hog
Dont know what they do in Poland, but... I have played a lot against Polish C. About 80% of the time the C opening is a weak NT hand. Just treat it as such, excep you are at a much lower level. PC is no big deal to defend against and that is one reason why I am so amused at the comments made by some US experts in "The Bridge World" when they complain about "unusual methods".
