I would also lead a Club before a Diamond, only because of my preference for black suits. Nigel's scoring looks accurate to be honest. Given the conditions of contest of 'BBO randoms' on the auction the most likely scenario to get them off is partner having AK in a suit, and that's most likely in spades, as he is more likely to have spade length that heart length.
