Sure blasting 6NT is bad, but this is routine on BBO. More to the point, so what? The slam will often be bid and always made anyway, regardless of lead. From what I have seen, those who resort to using extraneous communication/information either don't get ENOUGH information to optimize or don't have the skill to apply the information to the absolute maximum result.
