does Gib have an agreement whereby it would lead the 2 from a residue of T872? I don't think it does. So this unblocking may be right if you switch A♥ with T♠. Maybe move some other cards around, maybe give east Q♥ so points similar.

 

Agreed Gib is very generous on defense but this case at least there was a chance it was the right play.
