gszes Posted October 13, 2014 Report Share Posted October 13, 2014 ELC equal level conversion has some of its best results after a 3 level preempt.There is little room to explore so x followed by ELC when needed grants a greatdeal of badly needed efficiency to many otherwise impossible auctions. As suggestedabove x followed by clubs to diamonds if needed gets the idea of a 2 suited hand across. There is indeed some risk here the dia suit does not have great quality in case ELCis needed but the risk of getting passed out or having to chime in higher next roundseems even worse.
