No detailed agreements, 2/1 std by the ear. Now what:[/hv]

IMO 5N = 10, 6 = 9, 5 = 8, 4N = 6.

Partner's may be imaginary (because with four, he could have bid them at the three-level) but 4 must be forcing. Hence, partner has shown a good hand. He is quite likely to be short in , so your holdings are excellent, in context. Although a grand is just possible, 6 seems to be the most likely contract. In case you've misread partner's intentions, 5N offers a choice of slams..

Let's list partner's options after your 3NT bid:

4 natural? Maybe 74?

4 natural? Was SJS available?

4 ?

4 natural? Maybe 73 with mild slam interest?

4NT quanti

So it looks like 4 is the only choose-a-strain bid he has. It says nothing about hearts.

I suggest 4NT. Good heart stoppers, nothing else to add, not particularly slamish in context (I suppose my 3 already showed extras).

2nd choice 4.
