uva72uva72
My link Matchpoints, ACBL robot individual Based on the GIB Bid Description and looking at its own hand, North knows that I've got ♣AQJ10xx(x). Why, then, does it override partner and bid its much-weaker 6-card suit at the 5-level? Is it looking for partner to choose a red suit? It doesn't seem so, because the documentation only confimrms the 4 ♥ promised by the negative double; and Souths who bid 5 ♥ were raised to 6. The only Souths who were allowed by North to play in ♣ below slam were those who pre-empted their partner with 3 1/2 quick tricks and a semi-solid 7-card suit. steve2005
Partner is a hand hog. You've bid to the 5-level alone and Gib has singleton K to go with you. This is more than adequate support, no reason to pull.. If this was a human partner I would put them on suspension for 2 weeks and not play with them for duration. lol
