Since we are a passed hand, and since this is our 2nd bid,I give partner max. room.Even if he would bypass spades to show a weak bal. hand, thiswill lead to a sensible contract, only downside I may play it,but this may be plus in your partnership.Playing MP loosing the spade suit may be terrible, not so playingIMPs.If we have game and spade fit, we will find it.
