Cat1111 Posted September 1, 2014 Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 GIB opened 2H. 2S is forcing and 3S is even stronger but strangely 4C and 4D have no assigned meaning. There should be a meaning for this bid. It's commonly played as an Asking Bid asking for help in that suit to go slam so looking for a control, often a singleton. Alternatively it could be preemptive so misfit with the 2Hs but a very long minor suit and to play unless GIB has great support to raise to 5.
