Featured Table

How about having a 'featured table' - (set by yellows) of very good players to kibitz. It would operate much like vugraph in that commentators can talk as kibitzers, but not others. This table could be in the main bridge club, or a a team match.

 

Of course this would only take place when VG isn't on.

 

I would also suggest that the featured table be a different color than others so that it stands out.

I think this would be a great idea. Personally, I often log on with exactly that thought in mind, i.e "Let me find a table that is as close to 4 world class players as possible and kibitz," with the hope that the players will talk amongst themselves about the boards and that others are watching and talking about them as well.

 

Otherwise, you are left to your own devices and have to search for such a table (admittedly they are ways to do this, but with no guarantees of success).

I am like you Mark and here is one thing that expedites the search. I have added several topflight players to my friends list so it is easy to find them when I log on or I can track their entry to BBO when they log on. Pretty easy to determine a good table to kib if there is one.
