East is expected to have at least 4 Hearts and at least 5 Clubs. I know that the explanation shows at least 4 Clubs but I don't believe it. East is more likely to have a 6th Club than only 4. Likewise East is highly unlikely to have a 5th Heart, whatever the theoretical possibility. I suppose at MP you might try for the higher scoring contract, but it had better make.
