You arrived in a normal looking 3NT with no interference. The lead is 3 to East's queen and your ace. Plenty of tricks if clubs come in, but the communcications are poor. How do you go about this? Is 67.83% good enough for you? No more hints.

As stated, I'm home if clubs are 3-2, and it seems if you don't take club tricks you won't be able to make.

I would take D ace, cross over to H ace and lead a club from dummy. If East plays small, I will overtake and play clubs from the top.

THis will improve things when East have a singleton Ace of C. (As opposed to K of clubs from hand)

Not sure if this is the solution wanted but cannot see if I can cater for other 4-1 breaks.

i'd finesse the Q... if it loses (assuming east takes the K), i have another entry to the clubs... if it wins, i lead the J, planning on overtaking

If your finesse loses, he back and your entry was useless.

Even worse, he might return a diamond, when they split 5-2 and LHO has the club ace.

useless? i win the J and run the clubs, and the A is still there... true, clubs could break badly, but that's true even if leading to A first

yeah you're right, this is tougher
