Antrax
Yours and GIB's system. With a human, you could expect 5♦ to be interpreted the way you meant it. With GIB, it showed extra strength, which you didn't have.
lycier
After 3♠,it is not forcing if I rebid 4♦ with less than 17-18TP,I think it will lose games in many hands with 13-16TP.
Antrax
You're right, and there are several threads about not being able to play 5m, only 4 or 6.
MickyB
No blame, it's not easy to reach 7NT on these cards
Antrax
Found some threads discussing this:http://www2.bridgebase.com/forums/topic/65348-gib-raise-to-slam-unreasonably/http://www.bridgebase.com/forums/topic/53077-cant-play-game%3B-only-slam-or-partial/
fbuijsen
It's a bit unfortunate trump are 3-0, but it does make more sense to start drawing trupms with the ♦A from south, since east is slightly more likely to have a void in diamonds. iandayre
I think you are playing results too much Lycier. On the prior thread you want to be in slam with the DK onside. (you are right that 2S was an underbid). But on this hand, you don't want to be in the nearly 90% (with no opposing bidding) grand slam? And with the opposing bidding it is nearly 100%. If you went down it was declarer error.
