Jangvik
I have had this problem for quite a while now. When I am logging on to BBO then latest news are showing in a IE window. When I am closing it down with the close news window button or with the x I get an error from the OS telling me that BBO needs to shut down. I had this in version 3.9.x and decided to uninstall BBO and install the 4.1.0 version instead, unfortunately the same problem occur. The eventlog doesn't tell that much (I have put it below anyway). If you want I can send you the data that the OS want to send to Microsoft. I have Windows XP prof (eng) service pack 2.IE version 6.0.29 128 bit service pack 2. Information in event log Faulting application netbridgevu.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x5186b3db. uday
Will you try updating to the current atl.dll system file, with this link, and see if that helps? http://www.bridgebase.com/atl/atl.exe If not, please email fred - at - bridgebase.com
Jangvik
Hi Uday. I updated my atl.dll, but it didn't help. Anyway, if I restarting my system the problem disappear for a while. The last months I have been working quite a lot with C#, it could be some conflict there maybe. And when the problem occurs I can just move the "BBO windows need to shut.." window to my "other" screen and BBO is fully working anyway. Thanks anyway
uday
Could you search for possible conflicts with other versions of atl.dll ? That is, could you search your pc for a file called atl.dll ? How many hits do you see?
