Jack got a very good score on this board because it was an Instant Tournament; the other Easts, presumably an earlier version of GIB, passed 2♠. The way that GIB currently plays Capelletti, like it or not (I have an opinion but irrelevant here) is that 2S may be only a 4 card suit, with longer minor. Even if it absolutely promised 5, I have no problem with it removing 2S in favour of a certain better fit in a minor. Passing 2S may work out OK, but if going for the other minor, 3C??? Incidentally I know of one good player who uses 2N as natural here, and 3C as pass or correct. I could live with that, except that West here did not correct.
