Cyberyeti
Its not a secret that in english footbal more " body play" is allowed than f.ex. in continental one. The different view on this moment results may be from this fact? I think it's closer to a penalty than a foul on the keeper. He's already missed the ball then collides with the forward. Aberlour10
I am curious about the tactical action in today's highlight Spain-Netherlands. "Not-to-loose-no-risky-moves" or quite open attacking football.
gwnn
Fluffy just explained me a few weeks ago that Diego Costa doesn't dive. :o
Aberlour10
well done by van Persie Edited : Are there really Ramos & Pique in the middle of the spanish defence?, I cant belive it :o
gwnn
Not even Diego Costa's dives could help Spain tonight :)
billw55
imo the croatian player deliberately touched the ball through the defense to the attacker running on the back side rather than trying to shoot towards goal. he looks to see that the ball did in fact split the defendersIt is possible, but he has such a clear shot on goal that it would be ridiculous to do so. Then again, it is also ridiculous to so badly whiff on the shot, so I am not sure what to think. As for looking, anyone would naturally look where the ball has gone, so that does not mean much either way.

gwnn
I assume they did similarly awful things in the past but (social) media had less resources to uncover it. I don't know what you mean by millions, what are your sources?

PhilKing
It's time for Sepp Blatter to step down from FIFA - if he need a new hobby, I think bridge administration would be a good choice. ;)

MrAce
I don't know what you mean by millions, what are your sources? I guess his concern was more about the team Spain after the Netherlands match rather than the kids http://www.bridgebase.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif
gwnn
The funniest tweet I saw was from a Hungarian friend of mine who said "Bring back Egervári [ex coach of Hungary who quit after losing to the Netherlands quite badly], 1-8 was not that bad after all!" jjbrr
Côte d'Ivoire such an elite team to root for. They finally bring in DROGBA and he almost immediately draws a foul+yc and his team nets two goals. Don't tell me he wouldn't be the greatest of all time RAPM guy if this were the nba. Cyberyeti
goal tech makes it easy But showing only the wrong picture with "No goal" in the stadium shows real stupidity.

Aberlour10
But showing only the wrong picture with "No goal" in the stadium shows real stupidity. They showed both, but the fans reacted rapidly load after the first ( no goal) >>>wishful thinking its quite normal in such situation.. There were no more protests after showing it whole several times.
