dicklont
3♠ looking for 3NT or 5♣/♦I don't like to double with a void in their suit.
Endymion77
I would consider this a Lebensohl situation, and proceed like after a direct 2♠ overcall
P_Marlowe
Scoring matters. Similar Agreements regarding 2C. Did it at least promise inv. values? I guess the answer to the Agreement question is No. I Play X as T/O, I would make the T/O. With Kind regardsMarlowe
gszes
3d I have already promised a 4 card major and if it was spadesI would probably have a 3n or x available. This at leastestablishes a game force and lets p know my hand is not good enough to bid 3s asking for a spade stop for 3n (they willknow they need at least 2 stops). If p cannot bid 3n I will proceed to 5c and let p decide where we should play. If playing x as tox it is far too dangerous since there are manyhand where p has 4 reasonable spades where we have less thanzero chance to beat them with their 9 card trump suit.
