It seems not since GIB N shouldn't be stuck for a rebid.
lycier
If really so,it seems that Gib plays negative free bid,but I have no idea.
Antrax
Well, the alert for 2♥ said 11+ HCP, so I think it's not NFB.3♥ is 15+ with rebiddable hearts, btw.
ArtK78
It would never occur to me that 2♥ could be passed, or that 3♥ was forcing and natural. Thanks for the heads up.
helene_t
It is forcing but GIB apparently has no rule that prevents it from passing forcing bids. Possibly 2!s would deny three hearts while the hand is somehow not suitable for 3!h, maybe it denies six spades or maybe the hand is a tweener between 3!h and 4!h. When nothing fits, it passes by default.
Antrax
I know it passes when stuck for a rebid, but I was sure either 2♠ or 3♥ would be the book bid. It has a minimum with support and its own suit to rebid, surely something fits.
1eyedjack
It was embarrassed about its opening bid. Almost a human trait.
Antrax
I should've told it I'm proud of it for opening this hand at the 1-level :) Good call IMO.

But even if 2♥ is NF forcing GI is worth a sporting raise to 3♥
