Agreed. I had to look at the 4♥ explanation, since my initial reaction was "wtf?" I still don't like the jumping response to RKC showing a void, but I seem to be in a small minority on this. My plan was to ask for ♠K if GIB replied 5♦, to get to 7N, but this was IMPs, so 7♣ was fine.

This is a normal auction,as we know that Gib never play exclusion,this hand showed Gib play mini-splinter convention.

So in other words,this is just an option to the bidding gadgets,only.

This is an hand where if void is not signalled (4♣ instead 4♥) you can have information of void : 4NT ? 5 ♦=1 keycard with RKB0314 (to prefer if trump is clubs) 5 ♥ ? for Queen 5 NT yes with a void .. as i have indicated in (see) "RKC 0314".(Lovera)

You can have information about King bidding directly 6 ♠=have the King ? If positive N bids 6 NT(=i have the King of spade at any aside) otherwise 7♣ denies the King. Only so you can have the information to use in subsequent contract level (i. e. 6NT of N to play 7NT)
