First two tricks shown. Opening lead was a diamond. West showed out on the first round of trumps.

Plan your play.

I would play for a cross ruff unless East drops the queen on the first round.

Next play your top clubs.

If East plays the Q on the first round, ruff a heart high, cash the diamond king for a heart discard and then run trumps and try to squeeze West between clubs and the heart king.

If the Q does not drop on the first round, play your other top club and cash heart ace, ruff a heart low and cash the diamond king. Then cross ruff the remainder.

trick 1 win dia ace and since this looks like a dummy reversal hand and it seems

totally improbable that rho holding QJTxxxx in diamonds could not find a bid at

favorable I am going to start by

trick 2 low dia ruff

trick 3 spade to K get the bad news.

trick 4 club A

trick 5 club K if either of these is ruffed I had no play anyway and let us

assume the Q did not fall

trick 6 spade to J

trick 7 dia A (sure hope rho does not ruff this one) pitch club

trick 8 club and overuff rho if needed else ruff small

trick 9 spade A

trick 10 heart A pitch dia

trick 11 spade to Q

trick 12 club

trick 13 club
