Once again you and your partner play UDCA with frequent S/P. Your 1♥ overcall might have been ill-advised, but It WAS YOUR TURN TO BID. By clicking the next three times, you can see trick one, two and trick three. Plan your defense. What are the issues?[/hv]
Fluffy
I need declarer to missguess as he is cold double dummy. He must have 2 sapdes, or else he is down anyway.Return a heart and prepare to stiff ♣K as well as pitch hearts down to nothing. Need partner to have ♥96x to stand a chance. He will keep them as well as his doubleton club.[hv=pc=n&s=sh4dcaq&w=shtdqck&n=s3hdtc9&e=sh9d9c6]399|300[/hv]
helene_t
I was thinking of ♦J to make declarer think he can finese against partner's ♦Q.
shyams
Assuming all experts at the table, perhaps West should win and lead ♦Q at trick 4. An expert West is perfectly capable of leading an unsupported honor. And West can see the impending squeeze... I think South is more likely to play us for ♣K and baring it may not help.
