Do you have a suggestion for how to fix it? Perhaps try Update to a newer version of the forum software orInvestigate why the problem affects an initial post but not a subsequent edit. barmar Posted April 29, 2014 Report Share Posted April 29, 2014 As mentioned in the other thread, we figured out what was causing the error, it was due to a misconfiguration of the email software, which is used by the forum to send email notifications. Upgrading the forum software probably wouldn't have helped. There was no timeout on edits because users can't request notifications of edits.
