nige1
Gib was led astray by system. Gib believes your second double shows "biddable hearts", in which case its pass is slightly less bizarre. Until Gib decides to improve his system, you should probably grit your teeth and pass.

georgi
When GIB shows supperaccept, 4 trumps in transferred major, it does only with 17HCP, and using 2NT with 4333 and if it's max with doubleton it bids it almost natually. The exception here would be doubleton in hearts, which GIB would show with 3♠. Idea in this sequence is to keep retransfer always possible so responder to keep 1NT opener declarer. Here North has 16HCP and therefore cannot bid supperaccept with 4 cards.
barmar
Here North has 16HCP and therefore cannot bid supperaccept with 4 cards. He didn't say North should superaccept. He said it should pull the double to spades, because of the known 9-card fit. But I wouldn't double with the South hand. If you hadn't doubled, North might have bid 3♠. Basic bots would, because the book bid uses the LOTT; advanced bots don't, probably because simulations show that KQ of the opponent's suit provide more defensive than offensive value.
