Lead is a low spade, W plays low regardless of what you play.

 

I was shown this in a lesson thought it was an interesting one

trick 1 win in hand

trick 2 club toward K

trick 3 club toward A

trick 4 low club ruff

assuming all has gone well so far

trick 5 heart to A

trick 6 club Q ruff (unless rho shows out and fails to ruff)

you have taken the first 6 trick and still have AJ9 of spades

left for 2 sure trick and a possible 3 tricks.

 

The key is to ruff the low club first since if it gets overruffed

you have preserved your club Q as a trick and can pull trumps

for 4 spades 3 clubs and 1h.

 

There are some odd distributions that can set 2s but they will be

few and far between.
