I guess there is no this option on GIB CC,so I suggest GIB can use VASILEVSKY convention.
Bbradley62
Yes, there should be an explanation of 2♥, but it looks like you simply made a double-and-correct. Would 2♠ over 1NT have been Michaels? I also wonder why East didn't bid 2♠ over 2♦.
1eyedjack
Would 2♠ over 1NT have been Michaels?Maybe he didn't want to commit to the 3 level?
Bbradley62
Maybe he didn't want to commit to the 3 level?Sorry, I wasn't necessarily suggesting that was the proper bid; I was merely asking whether that would have been Michaels or something else. georgi
At the moment 2♥ shows -> -- rebiddable ♥; 18+ total points Missing explanation might be caused of some temporarily issue with fetching explanation by web server at this time. 2♠ shows -> !Michaels -- 5+ ♥; 9+ total points; forcing

Antrax
If E doesn't bid 2♠ over 1♠ directly, does it make sense to bid it over 2♦? Presumably the intent was to make a weak sign off in spades, and competing for GIB often shows extras.
lycier
I have to tell the truth.Actually I don't know how to take action,so I have a try to use VASILEVSKY convention that X shows ♣ suit and then I am going to rebid 2♥ showing two suited. Stephen Tu
Vasilevsky is about 1000x too obscure to even suggest GIB play. The standard is that suits are natural overcalls, double is takeout of spades, and 2 spades is Michaels, which is what GIB plays now so GIB is fine here IMO. uday
X then 2H is played by gib as rebiddable !H; 18+ total points I don't know why the explanation didn't show up at the point it was made, tho
