gszes
I have not a clue what this type of squeeze is called butultimately it is an entry shifting guard squeeze and actually interesting looking (though finding this at a bridgetable is probably a never never land idea:)))))))))) it is quite cute that declarer has to decide to play the 6 or the 2 under the 2nd spade. ahydra
What a wonderful position! Took me a while to spot how this works. :) South leads a small spade. The main line is: West plays ♠AKx. East cannot unguard a minor, otherwise South will unblock the ♠6 and the third spade is taken in North to cash the unguarded minor winner. So East's initial plan is to discard both his hearts. The catch then is that North must unblock both ♠QJ (and South must keep the six), since otherwise he is forced to win the 3rd spade and East takes the last two tricks with the minor-suit fours. Of course, unblocking the spade QJ needs to work every time, and does: if West plays ♠AK, ♥(A)x then South wins HK and a small slightly-bigger spade. If West plays ♠A, ♥(A)x then South just takes the K and exits in spades, keeping all spades in North. If West ducks, North wins the SQ and continues with J to throw West in. ahydra
Lovera
aguahombre
Exactly. The assembly instructions come with an allen wrench, but it isn't clear whether I put the sides or the shelves on first.
