Lead problem

[hv=pc=n&e=s87hqt6542dk94c42&d=w&v=e&b=16&a=1dp1hdp1sp6sppp]133|200|Matchpoints, intermediate level opponents that are a new partnership. What's your lead?

[/hv]

IMO = 10, = 9, = 8, = 5. With few high cards, declarer may need ruffs. What would double by partner mean? With no other inferences or agreements, when we have both bid a suit, I would take it as "Please lead your own suit" (i.e. ).

It looks like the 6s bidder has one red suit first

round controlled and another second round controlled

at a minimum. Since we have the dia K it is highly

likely the 6s bidder has the dia A. P did not raise

1h bid (after the x) so the increases the likelihood

the 6s bidder has 2+ hearts. I would not be surprised

to see a dummy like AKxxx Kx A AKQxx where they make 6

if we fail to lead a heart.

IMO heart = 10 dia = 6 spade = 3 club = 0
