If the player could have been aware that the infraction could well damage the non-offenders, then the TD awards an adjusted score. In this case, I do not think South could have been so aware. However, there could be layouts where "feeding" information to the opening leader to obtain a more favourable lead would meet Law 23, and it would be irrelevant if it was accidental.
