It's obvious that if East continue with ♠K the contract is down. But GIB cashed both minor aces and left with 3NT+1. Isn't the correct way very obvious for human? Why GIB did that? cvcherry
This hand was just played in #2618 Express - Free TCR 90 Automated Fun, and at my table only East was GIB
cloa513
It uses AD (Artificial Dumb) to decide its play. No Double Dummy so it has no idea that spades is the only suit to play. DD and reasonable assumptions should have told that no other suit is worth playing- partner can only have a queen or less high card points. BBO can't be bother ever considering GIB's play no matter hopeless it is. Give up pointing out GIB play failures.
steve2005
other problem is gib doesn't lead his best suit often. so it assumes your just as dumb and maybe you led a 3 card suit without an honor! but anyways its not even considering what you led meaning anything its generating random hands and deciding what's best based on that. not doing what humans do and lead their best 4 card suit and return the suit based on that.
