Meaning of Bids by Humans on iPad

I play ACBL robot bridge on my iPad. I cannot find a way of

ascertaining in advance what my intended bid will mean to the

robots. I used to be able to do that with my PC by lightly touching

my bid in advance of making it. Can you help me. The game falls

apart if I cannot tell in advance how the robots are going to

interpret a planned bid. Thank you.

You can hold your finger on the bid, it pops up a description near the top of the screen.
