steve2005 Posted February 8, 2014 Report Share Posted February 8, 2014 for the ACBL convention card please change the puppet Stayman to be in black in its 2 spots 1N & 2N.It is no longer alertable so shouldn't be in red. been so for over a year. his will quickly solve some arguments when a person thinks it is alertable. barmar Posted February 9, 2014 Report Share Posted February 9, 2014 The checkboxes for Puppet Stayman on the CC are for 1NT-2♣ and 2NT-3♣. These are the auctions that became non-alertable last year, so I changed them from red to black as requested. 1NT-3♣ is just a text field that you fill in with the meaning. In the "Not Alerted" section of the chart for "Responses to NT Opening Bids and NT Overcalls" is "Three-level natural responses whether or not it is a jump response". All other uses must be Alerted The CC doesn't have a way to specify that the alertability of a bid depends on the meaning. The standard ACBL CC has all these lines red.
