Gerardo
What about adding a bonus time per round, and a change button? When normal time is up, bonus time starts running, and host/director in charge can do the change anytime. If bonus time is up, change is done anyway. I think that could make it easier the change round work, plus, total time can remain the same as current ;)
uday
This one is not so easy, i think 1) Is bonus time to be added on a per-round or a per-table basis?2) We could add a web page to allow the yellows to do this, but if a non-yellow host wants to do this we'll need to alter the client (hence a nuisance for now, since we want to get 347 out there) Once we release 347, we'll produce 348 (or whatever) and target hosts/directors. Among other features, I want the hosts to be able to edit an existing tourney, get a quick tourney status ( 10 tables playing round 3, 1 table playing round 2. 2 tables waiting), a tourney history ( xxx has logged off. yyy has lost his connection. zzz has a red dot. aaa has been replaced with bbb by ccc) But lets wait until after 347 rolls out
Gerardo
What I thought was a fixed amount, per round, all rounds, like 21 mins/round+ 4mins/round bonus. That could help some tables fo finish, and the others have to wait, but if announced in advance, should be ok. Yes, I see about 3.4.7 (should it be 3.4.8?) uday
But then, what is the difference between (assume one board per round) 8 mins per board and 4 minutes bonusand 12 minutes per board? As it is, when all tables are finished, the round is called even if time is left on the clock
Gerardo
THe idea was after min 8, dir can do the change manually, but probably a way to assign the result to a not yet finished table is equivalent
