Is this a reverse?

Thank you! Would it be reverse in 2/1?

As per helene_t it is always a reverse. For people who play 2/1 GF there are different schools of thought as to whether you can just bid out your shape since you re already GF, or whether bids that "traditionally" show extra values should still show extras.

I play neither reverse nor showing extras in 2/1 myself.

If i skip bidding it after 2/1(GF) response, it means i don't have 4 card spades.% 99 of the time. And i do not think it is the correct forum to discuss this, since even the very top players have no common agreement or proof to show which one is significantly better than the other. And it also requires a lot of explaining about the details/style differences when using the same system, so called 2/1. Which i don't wanna do it here frankly.

But if you are curious, i remember at least 4-5 topics in other forums that people posted their thoughts on the subject in the past.

"Pedantists" would also point out that the word doesn't exist - it should be pedants...

To avoid complete thread high jack, this shows extra values in every system I play, whether it be SAYC, 2/1, Acol or anything else.
