johnu
Given the explanations of GIB's bidding, the hands when GIB doesn't have a red ace are pretty rare. GIB logic isn't very good at figuring out your total keycards from the bidding when you show 0-3 or 1-4, so you should go ahead and bid a slam which should make a very high percentage of the time. Antrax
That's not a great answer though, because let's say he also had the ♥A, he can't raise GIB's pass of 5♦ to slam.

You want a great answer when you have a partner that will pass 5♦ :P OK, if diamonds are trump, you could be screwed. But if hearts or spades are trump and GIB signs off at 5M, you can bid a small slam.
Antrax
georgi said he's going to teach GIB to raise 5 to 6 if the human signs off opposite the "0 or 3" response, maybe he can do something here as well.
cloa513
GIB could have had 6HCP, 3 distribution points and no ace- its been known to do blackwood without a keycard in its hand.

He's good! :P
hrothgar
You rebid a nonforcing 2NT with a 26 count and then complain about GIB's bidding? FWIW, I think that you'd be a lot happier if you learned that the point of robot tournaments is to do as well as possible partnering GIB, not to achieve some mythical par bidding sequence. Antrax
hrothgar, it's GIBberish that's the problem. Most humans wouldn't consider a 3NT opening, which is what GIB expects S to do with a 25-26 balanced. Once you go 2♣, all NT rebids show the same thing I believe.
