enemies

I mark an enemy in BBO either when a player acts rudley (such as makes rude remarks, boots me with no reason) or if a player makes psychic bids.

Apparently there are many of such players in BBO.

The number of enemies is limited.

I suggest the following:

1 - raise the number of possible enemies significantly

2 - include an option in "VIEW" to not see tables containing an enemy

You are of course perfectly at liberty to flag someone as an enemy for any or for no reason. And there is no reason for them to know that you have so flagged them so the reason for that action need likewise never brought under examination.

Nevertheless I find your criteria mildly curious.

Rude behaviour would be the classic justification and probably the main reason for the provision of the facility. I speculate that had we lived in a utopian society in which no-one was ever rude then the programmers might have overlooked including the option.

But your use of the adverb "apparently" mildly suggests a degree of surprise at the high quantity of players (relative to your expectations) that meet your criteria, and I in turn am surprised at your surprise.

Rudeness alone would account for a high hit-rate due to the safety of anonymity, coupled with a suitably jaded appreciation of human nature.

But perhaps the numbers are also artificially inflated by your decision to include those who psych, given that it is a recognised tactic expressly permitted under the Laws (and one in which I have on occasionally indulged and defend my right to continue so to do in future except in events where in contravention of the Laws they are banned).

So, to save time and potential unpleasantness, would you please be so kind as to mark me as an enemy? And I can reciprocate. Hopefully then we need never meet at the table, to our mutual benefit.
