Double shows length in spades for the moment. Probably weak spot, but it's written as it. Or maybe some new suit like 3♣ With hand like: ♠x♥KQx♦KJxxx♣Kxxx GIB won't raise 4♣, but will bid 3♠ so 3NT could still be reached.
