Fluffy
This one should not be hard for advanced, but nevertheless, my partner failed miserably with it. Click here to play the hand At the end of the hand on the show results page there is a link to the explanation. aguahombre
I need Chrome to link. But, what happens after I bid Gerber?

manudude03
I bid 4C (using a guest account) and defended 4H-
Fluffy
I need Chrome to link. But, what happens after I bid Gerber? Should work on all browsers except IE9- now. 4♥-pass-pass comes back after gerber
aguahombre
2♣ is wide-ranging (a wildcard). 4♣ is not. Having bid 4♣, I am out of it. I have given the opponents a bit of room, but we have seen cases where the lower (stodgy) variant preempt gives them enough room to make even worse decisions. Partner is in charge of any subsequent action by our side, with full knowedge of what he has to work with in my hand.
Hanoi5
Nice lesson about preemption. Many people tend to bid twice on these situations.
mycroft
Thanks for that one. Minor typos in the explanation (spoilered as they're in somewhat critical sentences): "Bidding 5♣ later when they have [e]xchanged", last-but-one page;"This way opponents will be oliged", last page.
