why pass my 4N ?

As we know,4N shows minors suits or two suited, so I am wondering why GIB pass my 4N .

Because GIB doesn't know it. I think it plays 4NT as natural in this auction.

 

Clearly a very useful way to play it, as after an opening bid and raise you often hold 28 HCPs or equivalent playing strength in your own hand...!

 

It's a pity that GIB operates on rules rather than meta-rules. A meta-rule "4NT is only natural if partner's preceding bid was a natural NT bid" or similar would cover all situations.

 

As to the OP: mouse-over a bid first to get an explanation. If there isn't one, assume the bid will be taken as natural :) Besides, you don't really have enough for 4NT on this auction IMO. Opposite little from partner you're down at least 2 in 5mX while 4H may not even make.
