Zelandakh
If West has no recourse, what is the game?[/hv]Poker. We have a full house and our ♥Q squeezes West out of their straight flush draw.
Lord Molyb
don't see a squeeze, sorry
helene_t
West thinks he needs to keep hearts intact so he first discards ♣A on ♠A and then he discards ♦A on ♣K. It is called a progressive pseudo-squeeze.
mycroft
It's swanway's club and all 13 of West's cards are PC for having put them down as dummy before the auction. The spade forces an ace, the K of that suit forces the other A, and scene.
gwnn
I remember reading Pavlicek's site though and I guess this is the same hand. The game is hearts and the point is W cannot hold on to his aces and hearts together. He will need to throw one ace, then another on the king, then S's hand is high and he can shoot the moon, assuming he has scored already the ♠Q. nige1
I remember reading Pavlicek's site though and I guess this is the same hand. Yes, I've edited the hand to include ♠Q. I haven't seen it on Pavlicek's site.
